Anyone else able to walk normally but not backwards/run?

Hi!

I recently went to a neurologist and was told it’s “probably FND,” though I haven’t been officially diagnosed. While reading about it, I noticed a lot of people talk about having difficulty with normal walking but then being able to walk backwards or even run more easily.

I’m kinda the opposite. My regular walking is mostly okay as long as there aren’t balance challenges involved, but I really struggle with walking backwards and I can’t run at all.

Is anyone else here like this?
