Basic DNC/WAR rotation flow?

Returning player here who mostly played for the story and only dipped my toes in some side/endgame-ish content. I’ve played mostly following my guts, since the main story doesn’t require tight strategies or anything. This time I’m aiming at harder content and would like to know what’s the basic rotation for DNC. I’ve read the community guide on BG Wiki, but it doesn’t touch on this.

I’m sure this is extremely context-dependent, but consider a solo scenario in which your only concern is dealing damage. Gearswaps can be ignored if you want, as I don’t have multiple sets to swap, but including it could be useful for me to have a general idea on how people play.

An example of what I did for basically the full game:

  1. Pre-pull No Foot Rise, Reverse Flourish and Haste Samba if possible;
  2. Box Step until X Finishing Moves earned;
  3. WS (I think it used to be Evisceration?);
  4. Reverse Flourish for more TP;
  5. WS again, creating a self-skill chain;
  6. Then after that was basically repeating Steps (Box or Quick) to get FMs and self-skill chaining.

I'm looking to understand the general gameplay flow of fellow dancers. Thanks for any input!

(edit: swapped No Foot Rise for Presto by mistake)

Instantly got reminded of the Gravebirds when I saw the pose. Maybe common knowledge, idk, but I didn't know the reference behind it.
