Another Stygian, another Nefer clear. This time, its time for revenge against Knuckle Duckle.

Genuinely one of the most annoying bosses in Stygian thanks to its ability to just TAKE one of the ducks away... like, okay, sure, WHY NOT??

First time this biss showed up my final clear was 48s and now im down to 21s. (I know this video is a 22s clear i didnt get the recording of the 21s clear but its literally the same, just 1s slower lol.)

Also big shout out to the reroll feathers this patch. Got so many Bina upgrades the last couple days. Flower, Sands and Goblet are all brand new from my last post here.

Later post then usual, i wanted to wait until i had some Bina cons to post my clear lol. Was supposed to be C6 Bina but i used my funds to C6 other characters this patch, oops. She'll rerun again soon enough lol.

The first time this boss showed up i was clearing it in around 42s with C6R5 Nefer / C2R0 Lauma / C0R0 Bina and C1R5 Nilou but by the end of that iteration of SO i had gotten it down to 36s. This time i started at 30s and wittled my way down to 22s with C0 Bina and with C2 down to 20s and i dont think i can get any faster with the current investment (aka need more Bina cons, but this season of Stygian will have ended before i can do so, rip to a faster clear)

This post is also a reply to that one guy who said my intial clear last time was "a bit slow for a C6R5 Nefer".... this shows the power of further investment unlike last time.

And before anyone comments, yes, dash cancels are sub-optimal. But this bosses RES down phase is quite shallow so the dash cancels are the only way for me to get the 20s clear otherwise im stuck at 21-22s.

The love i have for this character continues to grow with every passing SO season. I love how plug and play this team is most of the time. This boss does require some attention tho, have to focus so that i dont trigger Nilous waterwheel instead of her dance form in the second "Each deed will be Judged", otherwise he goes into the phase change and makes this fight take longer.

Normally this team runs Lauma on her Sig and Bina on Favge, but since getting C6 Lauma this team is less burst reliant, allowing for Lauma to hold Nahidas sig, and Bina to hold Laumas Sig. This set up provides the slightly stronger buffs for this team.

Technically i could get a 18s clear on Tulpa but my clears on one of the other bosses suffers more than id like, lol. But towards the end of the season i may try Varesa on the Watcher and move Nefer back to Tulpa, who knows thats for future me to decide haha.

The way that the dmg doesnt look like its increased much, but my god the way that Laumas weapon and cons interact with Nefers dmg is genuinely insane. It makes Nefer feel like a whole new character again lol.

From 28s down to 16s.... a saving of 12s, is such a crazy difference. Now i knew that C6 Lauma would be a crazy good upgrade to this team, but i genuinely didnt think that the time difference would be as big as it is. My love for Nefer continues to grow and i hope that they dont do this duo dirty in the future, especially since Lunar-Bloom itself hasnt had a direct shill in SO yet. Cant wait to see how this team will perform on said shill when it finally debuts in SO and for what the future holds for this team in just the general travels of time.
