Thoughts on Houhai English in China

I am currently in the process of interviewing for Houhai, and I am finding mixed opinions online, where many of the negative experiences seem to be older than the more positive discussions I've seen. I wanted to hear from anyone who may have experience with Houhai and what I should expect and any red flags before I take any jobs. For reference I am a 22 year old graduate from the UK.

Creating a CV for TEFL in East Asia, with little relevant experience

I'm newly graduating and I am only 22 with little relevant work experience, having only worked part time customer service jobs. Lots of CVs that I am looking at online emphasize discussing applicable work experience, but often gloss over their education experience.

Within my time at Uni I have some relevant, albeit limited, experience where I did a science communication module which involved science fairs and talks (within an unpaid placement) sometimes to younger audiences. On top of this I studied abroad for 1 year, showing that I am familiar with living abroad and the process that it takes, as well as doing field work in India learning cross-cultural communication skills.

I also have a TEFL certificate.

My main question is whether it is worth developing upon this in my CV, adding a larger, dedicated section for my education to discuss these ideas?

Any responses and ideas are really appreciated <3

Can I begin applying before I have my final grade?

I'm 22, did a year abroad and graduating (expecting the top grade) in July, as well as finishing my TEFL certificate, if on my CV I put that I am graduating in July, and that I my TEFL is pending will I just get looked over? Is it possible to begin applying and then getting conditional offers with a job assuming I fulfil these two.

I'd like to begin applying as soon as possible, but of course don't want to waste mine, and recruiters times.
