Beginner buying advice
Hi, I'm a beginner who bought a camera and lenses a number of years ago and never really got into the hobby and they've just been stored away. Since having a child, I really want to get into photography so I can capture nice pictures on days out but also have a go at street and landscape photography. I'm going to sell me current equipment or trade it in and I've put all the details below but hoping to get some advice on options to look at.
Would also like something that's not complicated to learn with.
Thank you
Budget: £700-£800 ideally for body and lens
Country: UK
Condition: preferably used but new if there is a good deal
Type of Camera: Mirrorless
Intended use: Photography and occasional video
If photography; what style: landscape, portrait, street
If video what style: just videos of birthdays etc with my kids
What features do you absolutely need: I don't know what I should be looking for.
What features would be nice to have: I don't know
Portability: How portable does it need to be? Either shoulder strap or small bag would be ideal. I want a camera that I can easily carry around.
Cameras you're considering: looking at Sony a6000 line. Was looking at the 6400 but unsure if this is better to get than another 6000 series model or an alternative brand.
Cameras you already have: I have a canon eos 60d with a 50mm f1.8 and 70-200 f4 IS. It's a bit big and clunky. I want something I can easily carry around on a day out with the family.
