I see many of these concerns come up in AI discussions. Some are well established, some are more debated, and some are easy to oversimplify.

I'm curious what people in this community think.

Which of these do you consider legitimate concerns?

• Water use
• Electricity demand
• Carbon emissions
• Copyright and training data
• Hallucinations
• Deepfakes
• Job displacement
• Bias
• Privacy
• Concentration of power in a few companies
• Warfare and defense
• Social effects

For whichever topic you choose:

• What part of the concern do you think is real?
• How serious is it?
• Is it an unavoidable consequence of AI, or something that can be mitigated?
• Where do you think public discussion gets it right?
• Where do you think it gets it wrong?

I'm not looking for a debate so much as a map of where people actually agree and disagree.
