Playing Paprium with my son on real a real Sega Genesis/MegaDrive.
My son is only nine years old, but he loves beat’em ups. This would have been a classic had it come out back in the day.

New headphones day! My Focal Clear MG have arrived.
I upgraded today from the AKG k712 Pro to the Focal Clear MG. I demoed these a few weeks back and couldn’t stop thinking about them. So the story goes…

Thinking to buy the Focal Clear MG cans...
Sunday I went and demoed the Focal Clear MG cans and was blown away. I currently have AKG k712 Pro cans and the Clear MG blew it away. I've been happy with the AKG headphones, but getting bored and too familiar with them. The thing I liked about the Clear MGs is there seems to be incredible imaging of depth. While listening to my HDTT release of Bill Evans Trio's album Sunday At The Village Vanguard it's like you could tell the drums were in the back where as with the AKG k712 you just got a very wide spacious soundstage. The Clear MG was much more dynamic in the smaller details. A cymbal strike had a much more dramatic decay than the AKGs did. I could go on and on...
Is there anything I should know before buying them? The body of the headphones seem well build, but how do they hold up over time. I only listen to them at my desk. They never leave the house, etc. Give me the low down.
