Please use the Master Doc and the Timeline in there to help guide you. Searching for things inside Reddit can be difficult sometimes, so you might have to utilize Google search or DuckDuckGo search. You can also try CTRL+F or CMND+F to search inside the Master Doc.

In your submission, you will need the Category you are submitting for and a link to the Reddit post you took it from. Screenshots from the daily recap posts are suitable. If you do not provide a link to the post, your submission may not be considered or added to the voting pool.

AN AWARD SHOW!

Most people commented and upvoted comments about having an Award Show! With that needing a bit of elbow work, we gotta get moving on this as we have a bit under a month to go!

Timeline:

• July 17-19 - Category Submissions!
• July 20-24 - Event/Picture Submissions
• July 27-May 3rd - Voting for Winners
• Dugust 11th - We post the Winners

We will need a few work days in there to make a Google Form for Voting with all the submissions and some time to create the Images we will utilize for the Awards Show post itself.

We'll take a bit to update the Master Doc Timeline. We'll have you utilize this for finding submissions!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

ON THIS POST:

1. Give Your Ideas for Categories, AS SINGLE COMMENTS. (It will be easier for us to make sure we add everything if it's all single comments)
2. Upvote ones you like and offer small tweaks to ones you see.
3. Make sure you still follow all the rules and Reddit TOS (aka Reddit Rules)

Be Creative! If you have part of an idea, post it! The community will come in and help refine your ideas!

Our prized holiday, founded last year, of Dugust 11th is quickly approaching. The Mod Team would like to do a community event. We have a few ideas we would like community input on! Apparently internal polls aren't a thing on Desktop anymore, so we'll just have to rough it!

Here's the ideas we currently have:

• Meme Contest and Give special Flair or other kind of reward to the winner
• Trivia Event - We could do this over several days and reward flair at the end. Might be hard to do in under a month
• Yearly Award Show - Do things like Worst Outfit, Most Hateful Post, Most Alarming post, etc. Y'all can suggest categories as well. Might be tough to pull off with the amount of time left but if we get on it, this one is doable.

Let us know if you have a different idea, or a tweak on one of these that could work. Upvote the ideas you like the most and comment on them as well. Hopefully we can get all the input and look at this post in a couple (3-4) days and see what the consensus is.

Also, look out for a Mod Update coming soon! Snarkers familiar with this sub know we like to get community feedback and give updates about moderation or issues we've seen in the sub that we'd like to improve.
