Microsoft will be filing for bankruptcy in the coming years the stock cannot stay over 500 for any meaningful amount of time unlike every other major tech stock this one repeatedly fails the test. Will the bulls accept this? I don’t think any of us wants to hear the nonsense about holding it for 10 years anymore.
Msft has been unprofitable now for 5 years not even beating the s&p why would people invest in a single stock if it can’t make a profit as a company?
Msft is the largest company in history that I know of to go out of business. AI has eroded their core company and are now in a death spiral when they inevitably go out of business what will be liquidates as most of their assets are just software?
The company has spent 100s of billions of dollars on data center capacity with only 3 potential costumers actually demanding that compute both anthropic and OpenAI deeply in debt with no actual profit potential and no real business model the third meta has decided all of sudden they don’t have the use for the compute they have built and is selling some of what they have because they don’t have any use for it which is going to cause a massive flood of compute supply with no real demand. who is Microsoft going to sell this compute to if OpenAI and anthropic stop getting money from private lenders and can no longer borrow money? And with meta increasing compute supply doesn’t that hurt Microsoft who is building massively to try and meet demand from essentially the same people?
I use windows for a lot of things and I didn’t like apple and Mac personally will we still be able to use windows for gaming and general purpose stuff after they file for bankruptcy?
Since they have had over 2 months worth of red days and are no longer a profitable company will the s&p remove them from the index all together?
Now that Msft has decided to give all of its money to the chip companies is it possible they just purchase the failing software company outright?
