Heart and Soul—An Appreciation Post

Players like him are hard to come by. Through the ups and the downs, the effort he brought every night was admirable. So many memories he made with us. This one hurts, and we will miss him.

Thank you, Max 🫡

Can’t wait for Kenny’s press conference

“Ohhhh man I thought we did a lot of good things”

“Give credit to the Knicks”

“I thought our guys played hard tonight”

“We had 50 timeouts, but I thought we shouldn’t use one to keep our players in the rhythm of the game”

“Just couldn’t make shots”

The star of the show was Jarrett Allen. But JT had some big moments in the game including the 3 ball at the end of the first half to maintain momentum. He did a little bit of everything, and his hustle helped bring life to the team when they needed it most.

The playoff riser that we know—efficient and unrelenting. Although it ended in a loss, he did this all on one knee against a better defense. This is the chance to put all the bad games behind us.

Better yet why is Mobley in for a last second three when they know he has a slow jumper and not a great three point shooter in general (even though he’s been good this series)

Not sure how you guys feel about this, but I feel like Thomas Bryant NEEDS to see some time in this series if they want to win.

He’s not the most talented player, but against a lengthy and physical team, it’d be huge to have a player like him on the court. He plays with some grit and heart, something our star players seem to be lacking. Even other players seeing his passion might help fire them up at least a little bit. In addition, he can space the floor better than Allen or Mobley can.

Someone like Tomlin has that grit, but he’s pretty much unplayable at this point in his career due to his inexperience and especially lack of shooting.

When we’re playing only 3 players above 6’7”… it’s hard to not get bullied out there.
