Here's what I made for my Edmund Fitzgerald inspired team I shared the logos for. I always thought it was dumb the Los Angeles Lakers kept the name when they moved the team from Minnesota as lakes are just such a huge symbol for the state of Minnesota. Wanting to come up with something that would be a symbol of state pride I decided the Edmund Fitzgerald could begin the inspiration for the build.

Features an alternate uniform design that resembles the ship itself and has a corresponding crowd pattern along with it. On this uniform I removed the name plates on the back and replaced them with 29 ship bells as quoted in the Gordon Lightfoot song and in reference to the 29 sailors lost with the ship.

Halfway through CFB 25 my friends and I decided we wanted to do a TeamBuilder dynasty league, and It quickly turned into one of my favorite things to do. Here's a collection of some teams from that same league, as well some other ideas I've come up with trying to create concepts for fictional schools. Hope you enjoy! All teams are designed for Dynasty Rebuilds and have the same cupcake roster and school type.

There will definitely be more squads on the way throughout the year. 👀

If you have gotten to this point and realized you couldn't save or submit, I've discovered that this occurs when you have edited the location settings of your team. For whatever reason it hasn't affected my imported teams, but it has affected new teams I'm trying to build. Leave the city in Orlando Florida and you should be able to save and submit.

Been a fun ride learning how to do this. Looking forward to making more teams and seeing what the TeamBuilder community is going to bring this season!

I always thought it was dumb the LA Lakers kept their name when they moved the team from Minnesota to LA. I wanted to play around with what a new Minnesota Lakers team might look like and drew inspiration from the legendary ship, the Edmund Fitzgerald.

These two squads are the most near and dear to me because I've put a lot of time into them and it paid off. West Texas is the team I personally use for a TeamBuilder dynasty with my friends and EA featured them on their social media pages. The Ghosts were just a fun and unique team to design. Can't wait to share them all with you again in 27 😤

The next team I will have ready for CFB27 is an updated version of the Lancaster Supersonics, a team-based in California that I designed for a friend of mine.

For the branding I decided to lean into the fact that just outside of Lancaster is Edwards Air Force Base. The logos and team name are inspired by the Bell X-1, the first plane to ever break the sound barrier during a test flight out of Edwards. My friend also has ties to Edwards AFB, and I wanted to include a tribute this year in honor of the 8 crew members that were lost in the B52 crash that recently occured at Edwards. The jerseys will feature a memorial patch I designed in their honor.

Like all of my teams, I fully plan on taking advantage of the custom stadiums/sound and optimizing the teams for dynasty rebuilds. Be on the lookout for more squads and then a post showcasing all of the teams when they are already for download!

Once team builder is back up I'll be putting this into the game. Always wanted to use my Mini-Australian Shepherd mix as a logo and now she's in the game! Australian Shepherds are great herding breeds and Bakersfield, California is known for it's agricultural industries.

Going to be posting several other teams I've designed branding for as well as teams that will be returning from 25/26. Once team builder is available and the teams are finished I'll be making a master post including the specific details of each team as well as the username to download. All of the teams I make will be cupcake builds to be used in dynasty and will feature custom stadiums and sounds to the fullest extent.

When EA brought CFB back my friends and I decided to create a Dynasty league where we all used custom teams which started my teambuilder addiction. In 25 most of us used resources on the internet or AI to create our branding and logos. At first I used AI and got good enough with my prompts to create some pretty cool stuff, but I never felt like I could truly get my vision to be generated. My friends also generated their own logos with AI and they weren't as good with prompts, and I was just never impressed with the brands in our league.

Going into CFB 26 I decided to download Inkscape which is completely free and give it a whirl. While the program has a bit of a learning curve, there are plenty of tutorials on how to use it as well as plenty of tutorials of how graphic designers approach designing a mascot logo.

My handwriting is atrocious and I have absolutely no artistic ability. This meadowlark logo I made by taking a real picture of a meadowlark, uploading it to Inkscape, and then using the software to draw over the original image and trace a cartoon mascot logo. The original up top probably took me an entire summer to get to the point where I thought I had "perfected" it. Tonight about a year later I started the logo completely from scratch, and made it a lot more sleek in about an hour or so. Progress!

I really enjoyed this process and at this point I've gained a new hobby, ultimately I'm responsible for about half of the brands in our dynasty league and I'm really proud of it.
