Started as a IAM Engineer at a DoD contractor in the healthcare sector. I've already gone through the clearance process and got issued my interim clearance. (Which was one thing they were waiting for) I've only had any of the team members do training with me during week one on video calls, other than that. It's just infrequent Teams messages when I have questions, however I can sense a bit of annoyance from the team lead (I try to limit my questions). Keep in mind it's week 3 and I still don't have all my access setup. I was hired to help improve workflow and automation in SailPoint ISC, however the team that manages seems to be stalling my access so I can't start my projects. The ticket is in but stalled at the owner workflow approval, I was told this particular team is protective of their environment so I doubt i'll be getting full Admin access. (Gate keeping)

I've taken my own initiative to start helping out. But it's very odd not be given any formal type of directives or mentoring throughout the week. I feel like a fly on a wall somewhat just sitting around. I'm going to bring it up to my manager, but I don't want to create any friction so early on. Has anyone experienced this before?

I'm finding myself a bit over-employed in the IT Fed Contract Sector. Is it possible to work at two positions requiring a Public Trust? Researching from what I can, it seems to be a No.
