Upgrading from KZ ZAR
Hello all,
I'm looking to upgrade from my KZ ZAR which is my go to iem pair. I pair my iems with a TRN BT20 Pro and use triple flange eartips for maximum seal and also because I suffer from wax build up. In the KZ ZAR, I like the deep bass together with the relative clarity and decent soundstage. I'm partial to the KZ sound signature. I am also partial to the sound of multiple drivers (if that makes sense, actually, just my personal experience) I mainly listen electronic music (Progressive EDM, house, techno).
Iems I am looking into,
- KZ Duonic (I like the planar sound for higher freqs, but since I use BT dongle, it feels shallow in the bass department...maybe the DD answers this?)
- KZ Decet
- CCA Hydro
- Simgot EW300
Anyone familliar with the KZ ZAR that could chip in on what I am eyeing, or maybe do some other suggestions? I want to have a clear step up and if I would spend around 100 EUR (Hydro, EW300) I want them to sort of blow me away.
