Meet Thistle and Scruff Tinsley!
Thistle - lighter short haired girl. Very sweet, gentle, loves strokes and somewhat timid of the two. She has a very high pitch chut and squeak (very screechy). She's an odd ball, in her own cute way. Despite her timid nature, she will stand up for herself against Scruff's bullying antics (nothing too serious, just lots of rumblestrutting between the two -guinea politics) Noticed she likes to stare intensely at you when she pees...oh she puffs up into chonkyness when she eats.
Scruff Tinsley - darker haired abyssinian lady. Bold, adventurous, mischievous, and sassy. She also likes strokes, but on her only terms, and when you try and pick her up, she grumbles like you've just offended her. Every Saturday, we commence the 30-minute negotiations because this girl will tell you, in her low, mumbling chuts she does not want to be picked up and weighed. Scruffy acts and struts like she's the queen of all guinea pigs.
We got them since June last year, and honestly, they bring us so many joys and laughter. We love them so much. Hope to have many more years with them.
