Probably annoying question
Hi everyone, I’m sorry if this is asked a lot, if it is or it annoys you please feel free to move on!
I have a 2 year old daughter who confuses green and red all the time. Whenever she gets it right, I have a feeling she may have memorised what that specific object’s colour is. But she consistently calls new green objects “red”. She seems confident when she says the colour and then absolutely baffled and confused when I correct her.
Now I, her mum, could carry the gene because my great grandad was colour blind (green and red). But my spouse, the other parent of my child, is not colour blind. Online it says this is practically impossible. No one in my spouse’s family is colour blind either apparently.
Of course, I know it’s probably way too soon to tell, but is this something I should bring up to the gp or nah? Or maybe yes but later down the line? It’s not really a “concern” per se, right?
Anyway thank you so much for your time!
