We have to scan all back stock same day as load now? Is this new?

Hi! This is me ranting and why I might sound whiny lmao

Was just told today our district manager is expecting us to scan in all our back stock same day after breaking down load

Idk it has me !!!! Because we have so many other duties (frozen & grocery) to break down load, stock shelves, help customers, pick list, intelicount, spot check, and now all back stock should be scanned in same day? I’m just unsure if my district is behind and is now doing it but man I got frustrated!

For frozen we get maybe a good u boat and a half of back-stock to last and it’s hard to get to scan it in same day so I do the next day or the day after when I’m grocery and have hours to kill. Bro it just feels they keep stacking up on things and don’t realize the amount of work we do, how fast we’re moving, like I feel I won’t be able to take my breaks anymore just so I can stay on time.

Our loads for frozen (mixed with other depts) are usually 3-4 so not too much but enough to really be busy. Backtock is usually lots of ice cream and the breakfast foods / fruit (bulky af) and lingering doors food. However they sell so it doesn’t stay full long.

Is this new for everyone or maybe just new for my district? I’m stressing out going back in tbh 😩

How to get vacation pay?

I was approved for “paid time off” about a month ago for 16 hours which I used for last weekend. I received my check and my work short me the two days I used for vacation. I looked at the app as well and it looks like my vacation hours weren’t even taken off, just more hours added from me working.

Was I suppose to fill out another form?? I’m short rent now so I’m just confused and very irritated 😩 I applied for these hours through Logile and it even says that it was approved by manager.

Thank you

U-boat situation is annoying me

I’m just ranting, getting store issue off my chest.

Dude I’m so sick of my store like hogging all the u-boats. I work frozen and the beginning of my shift I have to use shopping carts and work behind putting products away. Grocery takes up like 80%, Produce hogs them for their trash?? I ask for one and I’m told no.

I scheduled myself earlier so I can grab one and still yeah no luck! I talked to a manager to see if we get departments to have at least one before everyone goes crazy and nope!! I’ve tried hiding one in freezer with a sign “don’t touch it’s for freezer please!” Guess what. Gone.

Idk I’m like so irritated and frustrated when I get to work and I feel so dumb about it but ugh.

Is anyone’s else’s district manager / manager really getting to them? I work frozen and work orders that go between a bit above 5k to bigger orders 7k. When I first joined frozen it was take down the frozen pallets, fill frozen, tellicount, spot check, face. Our freezer was organized by boxes in areas they go (doors & bunker).

The district manager has implemented that all back stock product be taken out of boxes and scanned in and organized beautifully on shelves (we get a lot of back stock due to busy store). We now have a pick list to do. I have to read to read through orders to make sure all product has arrived. No left over backstock on u boats.

LISTEN…it sounds wonderful In a perfect world but I also need to take a lunch. Help customers. Answer calls. Separated deli - sushi - bakery - meat on pallet. Reorganize and clean freezer. Do other side quests. Make sure orders are done. Turn in receipts that everything came in or not by end of shift. They want everything done in a DAY or get talked to.“District manager came in and was disappointed how the shelves in freezer look.” Listen if you’ve seen freezer products and how bulky and weird shaped they are or how small and multi they are (sprouts rice, veggies packs, fruit packs) and the amount of room…it’s not going to look organized like a grocery back room okay I do my best :’)))

I’m tired of getting grilled because the district manager is implementing more than what’s possible for an 8 hour shift. The manager gets on me, I explain EVERYTHING that they’re giving me more and I explain the routine and all I’m told is “I’m just the messanger”. I extremely feel the district managers have no sense of what a regular employee goes through during a shift. I can see perhaps maybe smaller loads? But then there’s still so much they still expect with the amount of time. I know my work ethic and I kick ass and I’m proud of my work but I’m literally emotionally and physically drained after every shift. I loved working for Sprouts but I now loathe coming in. I’m starting to bring work stress home and like.. for wHAT!? I genuinely feel like I’m being exploited and I don’t like it!’

Was told he’s going to come back at an unexpected date to check our store like lol ok. Idk does anyone feel the same? If you have tips and tricks for a smoother shift please do share !

Thank you for reading this far 🫶🏻
