Instead of criticizing why don’t we teach
Hello generations of Reddit, I’ve noticed that a lotta older generations tend to criticize and make fun of younger generations for not knowing how to do certain things. If a member of gen z or gen alpha doesn’t know how to use a piece of equipment why make fun of them instead of remembering that their parents a member of the same generation as you failed to teach them and educate them properly because it always starts at home. Whenever I hear that “gen alpha can’t read or write” I’m immediately looking at their parents because that means the generation before them failed to do their job as parents AND TEACHHHH. As a Gen z if the teacher told me my kid was lacking in certain things I’m setting aside time to work with my child and teach them so they won’t be in class looking like a damn fool. If we as people would spend more time criticizing people in our age group who have kids that can’t do certain things instead of the kids who don’t know how to do certain things there would probably be less skills that certain people lack. Peace and blessings 💕💕
