33w1d preemie came home!
Earlier this week and a few days after her due date our little one was cleared to come home! She left the hospital 2lbs up from her birth weight but watching her grow we didn't realize how tiny she still was until the car seat.
Excited to have her home but boy is it an adjustment! There have been tears of joy, exhaustion and anxiety. Laryngomalacia(presumably caused by family history of hEDS as she already shows hypermobility signs too) has always got us on edge, any extra loud stridor makes us worry something is wrong and jump up to check. She is constantly spitting up even after holding her up for an extended period after feedings. She's at least keeping enough down to have gained a few ounces already!
I can't thank the NICU enough for not only taking care of her but for giving us the tools for when she came home
