Forks Forks Forks, what to do.

Like many others I had the bad shim issue when I first got the bike in 23. I disassembled cleaned and corrected it and it transformed the bike from nearly unridable offroad into ok.

BUT, its still not compliant enough on large loose rock. It tends to push rather than roll over.

So, now its time for round two. The question is should I have someone like Slavens (nearby) rework forks and shock or get base-valve kit or maybe new cartridges.

Anyone have shop recommendations around the Colorado area? I can do the mechanic work. What I don't have is tuning expertise.

NOTE: If you have never had you forks serviced I strongly recommend you do so asap. Aside from the shim issue the fluid was seriously contaminated with left over machining debris plugging the fluid orifices.
