FragPunk Is a Great Game With Huge Potential — Here’s What Could Make It Even Better
I’ve been enjoying FragPunk a lot, and I genuinely think it has the potential to become a top-tier shooter.
Because of that, I wanted to share some feedback that might help the game grow even faster.
1. Too many game modes are splitting the player base
If the team focused mainly on Ranked and removed the less active modes, matchmaking would be faster and healthier for everyone.
2. A Battle Royale mode could bring massive organic exposure
The BR community is huge, and adding a BR mode (without a Ranked version for it) could attract a lot of new players without risking long matchmaking times in the future.
3. Ranked needs more variety
Adding at least four new maps would keep the mode fresh and exciting.
4. Adding voice interaction during card selection would boost the hype
Letting players hear their team and the enemy team during card selection would create intense moments similar to Search & Destroy in COD 2019.
5. The biggest issue right now: new players can’t find matches quickly
A new player might queue for Ranked and wait too long, which makes them think the game is “dead” even though it isn’t.
Allowing beginners to be matched with higher ranks during low-population hours would solve this problem instantly.
FragPunk is genuinely a fun and impressive game, and I want to see it become even bigger.
Games like Rainbow Six Siege went through similar early issues and later turned into amazing long-term success stories.
I truly hope the dev team keeps pushing forward — this game has something special.
