I am interviewing with a startup with about 200 people max.

I passed the recruiter

I passed the hiring manager

I passed the technical

I passed the cultural

Today they asked me for 3 references and that a person from the team will schedule those once I provide them my references. I have great references (My current manager, a VP from my last role, and a peer from my current role)

I am so nervous and feel like I shouldn't celebrate yet :/

I am a W2 contractor at a FAANG company and have been doing the work of a senior. I asked my firm if we could change my title from non-senior to senior and it got approved as of today. I got my new offer letter and signed, so now i'm officially senior.

I immediately changed my title on LinkedIn and resume to Senior. However my contract may not be extended and I need to start looking for a new job by the end of September. If I said I was senior start January, would that matter or would that show up in my background check for my next role? I wanna be Senior at least for a bit. Honest thoughts please!

I am a qualitative researcher doing a lot of evaluation work but want to be more mix method. I’ve taken statistics in grad school but it’s been like 6 years since so I’m relearning a lot of the stuff.

In your work today, what are the metrics you are reporting? What are some tests you are conducting and what tool are you using or would suggest using?

I’ve been seeing SQL, R, Python— are you what you guys are using?

I just got chat gpt plus so I can relearn statistics and it’s been awesome. I was using the free version until I ran into the “you ran out of messages” half way through my lesson so I upgraded to Plus for free for a month. I want to know how you’re using it to its best potential? Maybe for work maybe personally? Let me know!!!

I haven’t dabbled in the different features yet like codex or scheduled, I don’t know what they are yet but will play around with it more tomorrow!
