Passed.
Long time lurker here. I guess it’s my turn now.
Getting into the meat and potatoes right away; I used Uworld, FA, Sketchy and some Mehlman pdfs like Arrows, endocrine, Neuro, Anatomy, repro, as my main resources and some BnB here and there but honestly its not necessary.
I started prep in October and took the exam in May, I was planning on taking the exam in early April but due to logistical issues I was unable to submit my exam application and had to delay.
Now during the delay I did about 50% of Amboss, it’s definitely not necessary but hey I had a lot of time to kill.
As for the practice tests:
Nbme 26 (baseline, 2 months out): 87%
UWSA 2: 90%
Nbme 27: 92%
Nbme 28: 90%
Nbme 29: 90%
Nbme 30: 89.5%
Nbme 31: 93%
Nbme 32: 92%
Nbme 33: 90%
Free120: 85% (wasn’t my sharpest here, took it in the evening after an entire day of nbme review)
THE REAL DEAL:
I flagged a couple questions in the first two blocks and felt a little shaky in them but the rest felt pretty easy, I didn’t feel like i was a deer in headlights.
The question length is almost identical to the free120, the longer question stems are as long as the ones on the free120 and the short ones are about the same as the average questions on the NBMES.
Wishing everyone the best in their endeavors.
