Help me understand my MRI report?

My Gynae sent me a letter last month that my MRI combined with my symptoms was 'very suggestive' of endometriosis. I received my MRI report today, and I'm unsure of some of the terms. I've googled to research but would appreciate you guys' insight and experience!

I've been offered the choice of the mirena coil or a laparoscopy, I'm unsure if these results warrant surgery? I'm afraid of scar tissue causing more severe symptoms and pain than I have now - which is teetering on manageable as it is.

Thanks for your help!

Any thoughts on whether to try the mirena IUD before my first laparoscopy?

I recently received MRI results that 'combined with my symptoms are very suggestive of endometriosis'. My Gyn doctor has suggested we try treatment such as the Mirena coil under her care first, but has offered to refer me to the specialist endometriosis surgeon if i want to go down that route. She has also suggested I look at IBS treatment to help with my bowel symptoms.

I'm planning to ask whereabouts the MRI suggests endo, as I feel that if it's impacting my organs I'll be more inclined to have the surgery. I'm 22 years old, settled on the cerelle progesterone only mini pill which has helped my cycle lighten and reduce some of my pain and symptoms. The IUD has always made me nervous, but it is less invasive so I wonder if I should try it before opting for surgery. Anything thoughts or suggestions? Anything I should ask before making my decision? Thanks for your support :)

My last post was me spiraling at my last letter saying if the MRI was clear, I would be discharged as there is no significant gynaecological cause for my pain. Received this letter yesterday and instantly sobbed with relief that there is SOMETHING there and it's not all in my head! I know this isn't a definitive diagnosis without a laparoscopy, but I'm 22 and unsure if surgery at my age is the best idea? Or if I'm setting myself up for scar tissue etc.

Any thoughts on where to go? The mirena doesnt appeal to me as I found my hysteroscopy very painful and don't fancy getting my cervix pierced again lol.
