I'm one year out from getting out of the military and toying with the idea of taking a gap year to study in Europe. The GI Bill website shows plenty of eligible schools in Italy, and it seems pretty easy to apply to the American campuses based there.

Anyone else here who has done something similar? Or anyone who decided to take a year off in their 30s to pursue a graduate degree in Europe who could share their perspective and advice?

First post here. It seems like almost everybody is in some sort of IT role. I'm a non-STEM guy who has been in an intelligence collector role with the air force for the past 6 years. I have a SIGINT/ELINT background and a TS/SCI with CI poly.

Do clearance jobs exists for people like me as well or are you out of luck unless you're an IT/CS guy?
