Continental Archetype Tubeless Tires
Not sure if anyone has had a different experience with the Conti Archetype tires than me but here goes.
I spent a full season on a set of 32mm Conti GP500 STRs and loved them. This season I decided to try out the 30mm Archetype tires. I've been running them less than a month and have had several punctures on them already. For context I'm a larger cyclist at 5'10 and 220lbs. I run them tubeless at around 60-65PSI. Roughly 90% of my riding is on relatively clean roads and paths, which is why I figured having a tire that has better rolling resistance at the expense of puncture resistance would be ok. Gotta say I'm not super thrilled with their performance. I've also noticed they don't hold air over the course of the week as well as the GP500 STRs did. I end up topping them up every day prior to riding. So long story short if you're considering the Archetypes I'd highly recommend opting for the GP5000 STRs instead.
