Is it just me, or has public dog poo etiquette absolutely fallen off a cliff lately?

I’m in Boulcott, Lower Hutt, and the grass strip out the front of our house has basically become a dumping ground for dogs with feral owners who can’t be bothered picking up after them. We’re averaging about three massive dog poos a week now, and I’m genuinely losing the plot at how disgusting some people are.

I get that accidents happen, but this is getting ridiculous. Kiwis are usually pretty good in this department but this is pushing me over the edge 😅 Is there anything I can do about it?

I’m about one more turd away from resorting to chilli or pepper powder.
