Aha went from an Aeon I liked to the one I just hate

Aha went from an Aeon I liked to one I just hate now because she went from an Aeon to just another waifu the MC collected, and the worst kind of waifu at that (as in way too much on the MC's side on literally everything, to the point it made the MC come across to me as another garbage self-insert protag who gets all the girls for no logical reason more than he/she ever did previously). This would be fixed if she was an Emanator; then I would have way less of a problem with it. It's the fact that it was an Aeon of all things that they turned into this. And what really sealed it for me is when Nihilix basically said I'm sincerely sorry for not solving all your problems for you; I really wanted to, though, and you're right to be mad at me for it.

I'm sorry, but no matter what else I like about the game, this one thing will always be a massive stain for me.

These are my honest opinions not trying to troll, get popular off of coasting or anything, the reason I post stuff like here is because I'm afraid of posting anything I personally find negative about the game on the main subreddit of HSR, so I post stuff like that here.

Personaly for me it's stupid that the mc keeps doing this

He keeps disrespecting and attacking the goddess every time he sees her, and he knows it's stupid because we've seen in his thoughts that dude is banking on the fact she needs him, so she won't kill him on the spot. This isn't a case of the MC doing something in-universe, but it being made to look badass to us, the viewers. This is a case of the MC in-universe gambling literally everything, both his life and everyone in his lobby, because of his ego and trying to look cool/tough.

Like, seriously, why would he be stupid enough to do this, especially after seeing the flashback and seeing just how angry the goddess can get with someone and how she can put people in situations worse than death?

It's one thing to have an outburst at her in a fit of anger, but it's another to actively try to aura farm while risking your life and everyone else's in the process; not even Niflheim can save him if he runs out of luck and she loses patience with him.

In my opinion the AE arguments against villain criticisms tend to be weak (spoilers for the most recent patch)

For me, as I was playing through the most recent patch, I noticed whenever Asat made a seemingly valid point, the AE response was very weak, in my opinion; their responses tend to be generic and don't even make sense to me at times. Like Himeko's response to Asat talking about the Trailblaze and its faults was basically to go you're a monster and you dishonor the TB, or " you were too afraid to keep being on the TB path.

So what if Asat is a bad person and was following the Trailblaze at a certain point, that doesn't mean he was dishonoring it, since you know the Trailblaze, like any other path, doesn't care if you're a bad person or not; all that matters is that you're following that path. And deciding to follow a different path should never be criticized, that's like shaming someone for having free will, since changing your path is literally just changing your mind, except in HSR, following certain mindsets can give you superpowers because of how paths work. Like sure him deciding to destroy civilizations is obviously a bad thing but the mere act of deciding you don't agree with the trailblaze is not inherently bad. And Responding to his criticisms by saying he's a monster is generic and is dodging the question.

Those are the ones I can think of the top of my head, but this isn't the first time I've noticed this when it comes to the AE.

Something I've come to hate about Cradles character among other things

I know the majority of you (if not 100%) will hate me for saying any of this.

I'm currently in chapter 33 of part 23 (I'm thinking of dropping this since it's taking up a lot of my time and I'm coming to dislike this game), and I've come to hate something about Cradle. She's not threatening; she's a punching bag. I mean that in the most literal and worst way possible; literally, every part of her character is designed to be a punching bag. She's the will of the Red Tide and immortal, but is purposely made weak enough in combat that everyone can beat her up, but not technically beat her for good, so they still look strong and badass. Worst yet, when she's apparently finally put down for good, no, she can't even get that dignified death because mc had to go back in time with the help of the higher dimensional being Ishmael (who at this point is just there to be a plot device and look pretty) and kill her again (this time she had no chance of winning) and the story literally denies her any diginity to make the mc walk off past her looking badass. The worst part is that they teased character development with Cradle, with her noticing she might like having emotions and wasn't exactly keen on erasing her Cradle personality, but instead of character development, it's just used to make Cradle pause long enough so the good guys can win.

That and this chapter ruined my favorite arc of the game by retconning it with time travel. Chapter 26 was amazing because it showed what could happen if the MC had no plot armor (which the game even basically outright states), which made the clone and by extension the MC more badass in my opinion, since it showed they were genuinely good and the best depiction of their strong will in my opinion, which made the tragic ending so good when the clone realized it was the end with no luck (plot) saving him this time. And chapter 33 undid all of that in my opinion.

I also found it annoying when Cradle betrayed Luna, and everyone was shocked, more specifically, the MC and Lee, since their literal plan was to backstab Cradle.

Also, Ishmael, for me, was infinitely more interesting before she got a full physical reveal and became way too friendly with the MC, to the point that she wants him as her companion forever, with no real logical reasoning.

My problem with Saber vs Caster in FSN

I've seen many people say that if not for Shirou Saber washes Caster or other things to that effect, but if you pay attention to what happens every time Saber actually fought Caster without outside interference, she lost each time, which doesn't make sense. That and 90% of Saber's most embarrassing moments are either directly caused by Caster or indirectly caused by her.

One bad ending is caused by Shirou letting Saber fight Caster alone since he trust her fighting ability but Saber gets stabbed and captured by caster. In HF, Saber would have lost (in CQC, mind you) if not for Shirou screaming at Saber, telling her not to let herself get stabbed, thanks to the knife ability, then Archer coming in, slicing off Caster's arm, before she could stab Saber.

Let me put into perspective how stupid this is (and PIS for Saber), you have one character who's very good at magecraft, but terrible at cqc, and her one other ability/wincon requires her to get in close in cqc to stab her opponent against a character who invalidates said magecraft and is a master's swordsman. Yet somehow, each time they get into a fight, the swordsman loses in CQC and gets stabbed. I'm sorry, did the master swordsman suddenly forget how to dodge, perry, or the fact that she has a weapon that is way longer, making it harder to stab her with a very short blade? Also, she's trying to stab you; you should already be trying to avoid that by default.

That and I think the wedding dress scene with Saber was not only bad, but it was unnecessary and was there simply for fan service (did I find Saber attractive, yes, but it was not needed and didn't really add anything except making Saber look terrible).

Also, even if it made sense, the Kuzuki fight was just embarrassing. That one, I don't have any reasons that deep story-wise or anything, I just didn't like it.

Saber in FSN in general is fine to me, but I hate it whenever she's near Caster.

The reasons I think HI3 part 1 was so good (for the most) and what held it back

I think part 1 was so good writting wise is because it wasn't written like a gacha at all it was more like a battle shounen forced into a gacha format, yeah the last arc had its problems but again most shounen do with the last arc and it doesn't negate the good it has.

What I think held it back from being massively popular was two beings time, and the company itself (unknowingly) one I think it just didn't come out at the right time for gacha games. And too the company accidentally massively restricted itself by marketing itself to the wrong crowd so everytime they tried to branch out they huge backlash to put it lightly.

[Pick Me Up, Infinite Gacha] I have a question regarding this manhwa I don't care for spoilers

At first, I loved this webtoon because all the characters got time to shine, and even though the MC is a cup above the rest (at least in comparison to his comrades), he still struggled against every major boss fight, and most of the time would straight up die if not for his comrades he has is aura moments but he was allowed to struggle a lot' despite his knowledge and privileges he has that no one else does.

But ever since the physical introduction of the Niflheim, all the stakes I felt were at risk of falling to zero, and chapter 118 basically confirmed this to me. So unless something changes, the MC has now become another boring overpowered manhwa MC since he can call upon the Neflheim if he's ever in trouble.

So I have a question: is there ever an enemy that shows up that is a legit threat to Niflheim?

And I don't mean like in Solo Leveling where the answer is technically yes, but the plot will prevent the MC from meeting his enemy untill he grows well past them. I mean a legit threat that shows up and that the MC has to fight that is so strong that even Niflheim struggles, so that the MC doesn't have an easy way out.

Or really does the Niflheim problem ever get solved in any way so the MC doesn't have an I win button.

I ask this because I don't want to continue reading if the MC is just going to be another overpowered manhwa MC that's just there to look good, and I just happened to get tricked by earlier chapters.

My thoughts on chapter 28

So I finished chapter 28 a few hours ago, and I had two major problems with it.

1: I won't go into detail since I already made a whole post about it. All I will say is that the backstory is way too long, and it should have done what chapter 27 did and have us follow a character we already know and care about throughout the backstory.

2: The other problem I have is weird because it doesn't happen untill literally the very last part of the chapter, but Kowloon weirdly gets glazed, and it doesn't make sense. Until that point, it made clear Kowlong is suffering severe losses because they're just not used to and equipped to fight the Hetero creators like other groups since they never had to before, so when they finally attack everyone is caught off guard and no one has a solid plan to fight back against them, and they even needed to beg Babylonia for help since without them they would have been screwed and the tide of battle only turned once Babylonia enters the picture and it's made clear Babylonia is the stronger military power out of the two.

But then the very last part comes in and goes no, Kowlong is so strong they could have destroyed Babylonia anytime they wanted, it's to the point it's the reason why Babylonia's corrupt politicians act very out of character and don't interrupt Qu and try to refute her when she disrespects every last one of them in her speech to the parliament. The only thing Kowlong has that can threaten Babylonia is Huax, which isn't a guarantee, and we know from past chapters that Babylonia is far from helpless when it comes to Kowlong. That, and it also acts like Kowlong helped humanity go forward with barely anyone else mattering.

Fix these two problems, and the chapter would have been fine for me.

Basically, I think the first two-thirds were nearly perfect, but then the last bit came in and gave me my problems.

Reading through chapter 28 (not finished as of making this post) and there's something I've got to get off my chest

This is the first time I've actively hated reading/playing Punishing Gray Raven. The parts with Qu and whatnot are fine, but the last section drags on and on with characters I don't care about. This is the first time I've had to actively look up exactly how many parts there are because I didn't know when it would end.

The worst part of it is that it feels unnecessary, and with characters that are just dropped on me that I don't know or care about, and the one character I should care about, that being Qu's brother, barely appears in it.

Like, seriously, I feel like this chapter should have ended after the stuff with Qu.

I'm not trying to be negative but this is the first chapter where I have to force myself through it.

Just finished PGR chapter 26 Cradle Parade

Sorry if this isn't organized, these are just my thoughts

So I've been trying to catch up with PGR slowly but surely, and as of making this post, I finished chapter 26, Cradle Parade, just a few minutes ago (depending on how long it takes me to make this post), and I gotta say I wasn't expecting it to go where it did.

So if I got this right, the original MC is dead (sort of maybe) while the one we're following now is one of the clones that was a decow made so that Baylonia would eventually find it and never think to try to look and even ignore pleas from the original if he managed to get a message to them thinking it's a prank since they thought they already saved him. Either way, this was extremely sad, but also gives the new MC a new way to connect to Lucia since he sort of knows how she feels now (hope they explore that).

It was sad to read when the MC realized he there was truly no hope and he would die without his friends even being there, though if I'm being honest, I couldn't fully feel sad since I was fully expecting some BS to happen and this just to be death baiting. But I'm glad they mostly went through with it.

I also loved Lamia, and the reason for this is that while it's clear even well before this, the game makes it a point that no one on each side is truly evil most characters (especially on the Ascendents side) are stoic or way too put together, meanwhile Lamia is more complicated and even vulnerable as a person, making her character development and interactions way more interesting. I even like how the game shows that the people of Babylonia are racist towards ascendants and doesn't try to justify it, even the MC is like, while he does somewhat warm up to Lamia, part of it was just him being pragmatic and outright trying to manipulate Lamia, especially at the beginning.

Overall, I liked this chapter.
