Tips for Effective Agitprop?

I was wondering if you had any tips or readings on how to effectively write Agitated propaganda for a magazine.
I'm attempting to use a student magazine to increase participation in our organising. Our protests and talks do get good numbers but we would like larger numbers, and are looking for new avenues to get eyes on the events on campus.
The magazine is broadly liberal, but is okay with anti-capitalist language and thought, even if it is rare.
While we have specific actions we want to promote, what can I add to make students aware of the rights being taken from them? What kind of things do I need to pay attention to for messaging? And how can I be diplomatic to the writers to keep long-term cooperation with us and the magazine?
