Thyroid levels with half a thyroid - should I see Endo?

Hi all,

As a teen, I had one lobe of my thyroid removed because of a large goiter. After that I started seeing an endo and my thyroid levels remained in normal range.

I've since moved to a new state and am in my 30s. I haven't seen an endo in a few years - the last one I saw wrote me off because of my normal levels and told me I don't need to see an endocrinologist. My doctor has only been checking my TSH for the past few years, and another specialist was alarmed to learn this/alarmed that I didn't have an endo given my history.

I got my primary to test t3, free t4, and TSH. labs drawn around 8:50/9am with fasting

T4- .8 (right at the bottom/cusp of the normal range)

TSH - 1.62

T3- 2.7

My t4 has gone down since I last had it checked a few years ago, it used to be around 1.4, and I am experiencing fatigue and thinner hair strands, and dry skin. Should I be concerned about this dropping t4? What can help bring it up if anything?

My ferritin is low (19) and I have been supplementing for two years with little effect. I also supplement copper because I'm deficient. B12 is good.

Thank you! My primary doesn't see reason to have an endo/I'm in a state with a shortage of health care providers. When I was a teen at one of the best hospitals in the US, they told me I should always have an endo but I can't get anyone in my current state to take that seriously despite having half an organ.
