I'm bawling atm. I just had to leave my precious boy at the emergency clinic.
He went from energetic yesterday, to suddenly collapsing and barely having any energy. went to emergency clinic. Bloodwork was bad, did echo on his abdomen and there was blood. Turns out he has spleen cancer. They operating to remove it as I'm typing this. I can't stop crying. he's only 8.5 yrs. I'm not ready for this. please hope with me he'll be alright!
Update!! got a call from the clinic. They found one large mass that ruptured and several smaller masses on the spleen, one of the smaller masses also got attached to a lymph node. Liver looked fine. They send the tissue to a laboratory to determine if it's benign or malignant. It'll take 10-14 days. If it's malignant life expectancy is short. For now he's waking up and seems to recover. Said he already drank some water. They put on some clothes so he can't reach his wounds. I can pick him up tomorrow when they call. They ensured me they would call me if he acts up (what i suspect will happen). (i tried to use my best English)
