


High protein lunch
Hi everyone, I've been lurking for a while but I had to finally get involved and share my excellent lunch today! King Oscar Mediterranean style mackerel with roasted chickpeas and pickled beets. Amazing flavour from the mackerel, nice meaty texture. This is now my 3rd tin/day eating this fish. Perfect crunch from the chickpeas...the crunchy texture and nutty flavour paired very well with the fish. Pickled beets helped to cut the richness of the olive oil. I really enjoyed this and I felt very full afterwards. Sharing for those who want snack ideas other than crackers!
