Nokia 5190 on RedPocket not working
I've seen posts of other users getting Nokia 5190s to work with RedPocket, so I have recently acquired a one and a RedPocket GSMT sim card with the hopes of getting it onto the network, however it throws an error about the SIM not being accepted. I can confirm that 2G still works where I live as I've used the sim card in my current smartphone with no issues. I've heard things about newer sim cards not working with these older Nokias, so I even tried an older Cricket Wireless one to see if it would at least recognize it but to no avail. Any suggestions?
UPDATE: So I managed to find out what the original carrier was and used nokia.free.fr/unlock to unlock the provider code (Turns out Code: 0502043 is BellSouth Mobility). However according to geckobeach there can also be a network lock on top of a provider lock. So I've made some progress but I still need to find out another code
