i find the evangelion opening style and song fits very well with the absurd amount of random information and panels and powerpoint style things that are found in the series (especially up to and including the babylon project but after that too)

i left out the rest of the ending episode after the nukes launched by HOME Gamma-Majestic because it doesnt really fit the idea i wanted to convey of solving the eldritch cosmic horror problem with the full might of an $800 billion defense budget, and the ending is kinda just a bit underwhelming to me, like you're telling me a planet assimilating cataclism beyond comprehension just trolls america specifically, to extinction, and then just leaves with the entire hive mind? what the fuck?
