Just starting out with my mealworm farm and decided to keep it simple for now. I may try separating them later, but this is what I’m working with at the moment. I’m starting small with around 250 in one drawer. I set up the other drawers for later, but they’re not in use yet.
I know it’ll be a while before I can start feeding my animals with them, but I think it’ll be worth it in the long run. I’m on a small budget, so I used drawers I already had. I also plan on replacing the egg cartons with paper towel rolls once I have some empty ones.
I thought about printing a mealworm farm from Maker World, but after comparing the cost, using these drawers made more sense for me right now.
