Hello!! Thank you very much for reading this in advance!! I'm a 15 year old female. I got my period when I was around 12-13, and am a bit concerned about my symptoms.
Despite my factors, my periods tend to be.. quite bad, and I can't tell if that's unusual?
My period is medium to heavy flow!! I find this quite odd, though, considering my body is definitely not in the ripest shape. I have iron deficiency anemia, I'm underweight, I don't eat enough, and I am almost always stressed or anxious. It takes a lot of energy out of me!!
However, despite these factors, my last periods have been getting much worse. Just a few months ago, I experienced the worst period nausea I have ever had. It hit me like a truck in the middle of lunch, and I felt strongly like I was going to throw up. I started cold sweating, too, and excessively swallowing.
And.. this last period I had was even worse. I was experiencing cramps that were a 7+ on the pain scale, and it was causing muscle spasms to radiate up my abdomen. I was also dizzy, and could not focus at all. I was sweating, and had no idea if that was normal.
I generally get my periods on time; I got my period in between two months, so sometimes I get my period at the beginning of a month, sometimes at the end.
The blood clots I have are typically no larger than a penny. Should I be worried?
The pain of my cramps on the pain scale is usually between like 5.75 and like 7.80.
