Hello,
moved back to Ireland for nearly a week now getting things sorted, however when I went to exchanged the driving license the NDLS appointment wanted a “letter of entitlement” from Canada (Alberta is were we came from)
Now the problem is in our research online it never mentioned this, as we would have go this over in Canada before leaving instead of trying to send away from it now and waiting a long time. looking online it also says switching over license id only be able to drive automatics? But I passed my test in 2017 in a manual and would want to return to manual driving
Called the NDLS today and the customer service said no we (my partner and I) don’t need the letter of entitlement and to send the application on and if they require any more info they’ll be in contact?
As you can tell my heads all over the place figuring this out with different answers from two people.
