I have now officially watched The Bay (2012) eight times inside of two weeks and I think I've hit upon what I really like about it: I like the faux documentary style that's so similar to The Illuminae Files by Amie Kaufman. I can picture how scenes would translate to being described by analysts in the manner used by Kaufman, and I would like to read more books written in a similar style.

Are there any horror novels that are like this?
