I'm seriously considering replacing the Jackson Floyd Rose bridge with an original Floyd Rose. This guitar is already 8 years old, and lately the bridge has been giving me trouble holding the tuning, and a couple of strings keep slipping off the bridge. The bridge on this guitar is noticeably worn, and I can't find replacement parts anywhere, only options of dubious quality. Now, will this modification be compatible with this model? Has anyone done it before? I like this idea because guitars with original Floyd Rose bridges are very expensive...
