England - Neighbour hires out garage to a mechanic and has 6-10 cars parked on the street at any given time. The cars are parked right up against a train crossing barrier too. Is there someone we can report this to, and do we have grounds to complain?
As the title says, our neighbour is hiring out his garage to a mechanic (didn't even think this was allowed?) which has resulted in our small street being overran by multiple cars in need of repair.
The neighbour's garage entrance is directly next to the train crossing barrier, often resulting in one whole side of the road being blocked for 10m+. This causes traffic and cars slowly reversing back through the road with other cars stuck on the train tracks.
Do we have means to complain and who do we report this to? Direct to the council? I have little hope they'll care, truth be told.
