Thinking of picking up a used ThinkPad P1 Gen 5 as a mobile editing workstation. They’re going for around €1000–1200 depending on config.

Before I go for it, are there any better options in that price range I should be looking at?

Main requirements:

• Solid keyboard (will be typing a lot)
• Reliable / long-term usable
• Durable build (travel use, occasional knocks, nothing crazy but needs to survive real-world use)
• Windows only (no macOS)
• Decent battery life for a workstation-class laptop
• USB-C charging

Open to other brands if they make more sense. Just want something that won’t feel like a compromise after a few years.
