EHOW Church

I was starting to make custom content for the sims 4 a while ago. I stopped because I didn't know how to make a bump map with the program I was working on. Now that I have updated the program that I am using I would like to start making cc again. Only thing I'm confused about now is the order in which to do it. I know how to make the meshes and I'm learning how to make bump maps and shadow maps, but what order do I do these things in? I haven't seen anyone mention it before on Sims 4 Studio. Does it even matter? Or does one order work better than another? I know i need to mesh first but not sure which step to take next. I would really appreciate any help. Thank you!
