I posted here a few days ago asking about the things I could do in a day and a half. Thanks to everyone who replied. I just wanted to say that I had an amazing time in your city. The food was incredible (although I didn't get to try Bougatsa), I met so many wonderful people, and I genuinely enjoyed my stay.

Thank you for the warm hospitality and great memories. I hope to come back again someday.

1.5 days in Thessaloniki. What shouldn’t I miss? (and what should I eat?)

Hey everyone!

I’ll be in Thessaloniki this week for work and will only have one full day plus a free morning to explore. I’d love to make the most of that time and get a feel for the city.

What are the absolute must-see spots if I’m short on time? Is the city safe at night for female travelers? I’m open to walking a lot and packing the day pretty tight if it’s worth it.

Also… food recommendations are very welcome 😄Really looking forward to visiting your city!
