Accidentally knocked this beautiful cluster off its stock while watering the garden last night (Why did the devil make me so clumsy??)

this set is from a J1 graft, representing my attempt isolate a variegated button.. (see other post for the mother). It does cool colour changing stuff.

this line roots rapidly and grows thick tap roots. In a couple years it may be indistinguishable from a seed grown plant.

***buttons are flawless on top but have winter stretch marks/mite scars on bottom as shown...

j1 is a unique plant and expresses a shifting variegation under different lighting conditions. I am currently working to isolate the variegation.

also this old school Peruvianus (early 2000s) clone with roots, was grafted to Peres but it broke off. It is slightly sun stressed so it is a bit greener than most of the other clones which get quite blue. $40 plus ship

(ps*****...if you're jonesing for cactus plants but are feeling poor, I got you! i have 2 x 5 packs of small NOID stumps mostly (riomxmalo4 or short spine peru or some chavin land race ..possibly 1 pc)..these should be rooted immediately since they are from last year and dont' have much energy left for error. exfolitate the roots and use the next 2 months to get em established. cheap way to get a bunch of plants $20 plus shipp

also have 2 x 12 inch NOID seedlings that are a bit ugly, (one is maybe pc hybrid, other is riomxmalo4 i think) both from last year so root em fast. $20 plus ship)

seeds from Chavin Herbalist, misplant, valley succulents, trichocereus Australia. Jourdi cuts from a Dr Frank plant J1 (some rooted cuts never grafted others degrafted.) pach vg and lophos from Thailand. Lwc and Peru from cactus kingdom way back in 2010

slow growth this year. Hope they fatten up.

the big beaut baby blue Noid is unknow, however due to its bridgesii x Peruvianus appearance it may be psycho0xsharxxblue. Or bridgesii jumbo from Chavin… I dunno and I wish I did because it is my absolute favourite! I have sev phenotypes and each has slightly more or less Peru/bridge look.
