So I had this idea to post the rough draft of my book on a site (we'll say RoyalRoad for the sake of discussion) to promote the finished version of the book which I'd through KDP, Ingramspark, and things of that nature. I know in the past it was common practice to release "revised editions" of a book, but I don't know if that would still be acceptable in today's market where readers are expecting to get a perfect product.

Keeping that all in mind, I can't decide if this would be seen as a scam, scummy practice, or as a reasonable means of promoting one's work. In my mind, it feels like you'd giving someone a glimpse into a version of it and allowing them decide if it's worth it to see the improved final product.

Edit: I fixed the question to hopefully clear up some confusion. But for sake of abundant clarity, I will also add that I do NOT mean selling a rough draft to people. I'm unsure why anyone got that impression to begin with, but hopefully this helps put that thought to bed.

The doomsayers will downvote this, and that's fine. I just wanted to put this out there though. I have noticed the conversation has moved from blaming feminist, to LADS fans, to players now bringing up Horizon Whatever the fuck its called.

I do not think any of them are behind this. I know some of you have seen my theory that this is a conspiracy, and you're welcome to disagree if you wish - and I wouldn't blame you because it's hard to believe there would be an actual conspiracy against Snowbreak. However, I do think whoever IS behind this (Assuming there is a someone AT ALL and its not a legal situation like some have suggested), wants us to focus elsewhere so we don't start asking too many questions.

For that reason, I think players suddenly trying to convince us to move over to Horizon Gacha Something is purely a distraction. Don't go and attack their game, and when people make posts trying to convince players to jump ship for it (or other games) downvote and ignore; but feel free to go play it as well, it might genuinely be a fun game, idk... But I also don't care. If I wanted to know about another game, I'd go to their subreddit and talk about it, not this one...

Can we please stop with the doom posting. It is getting to a point where it feels like someone is deliberately attempting to convince Snowgang to give up on the game. The complaint I see most of all is how people are angry they have to jump through hoops to remove the censorship but that just tells me you ain't been playing long or you just wanna whine. News flash; The game has BEEN censored, we just used our powers as the adjutant to make it UNcensored... Censorship is not new, the method in which we get around that however IS - and localization may never be the method again - but complaining that the game doesn't ship that way is such a tourists argument it feels like bots arguing with bricks at this point.

Now to the people who are mad the censored versions look MORE censored, that I can understand to a degree... but at the same time... Why are you playing it that way to begin with? If it really bothers you, there are methods to fix it? But for the sake of argument, I do understand wanting to keep the game censored for whatever reason and I won't hate on anyone who chooses to do so; In those cases, best I can say is to give them time. People tried claiming the game is dead - it isn't. Now they are claiming the game is dead dude to censorship - they want it to be, but it isn't. This community has fought too hard against these haters from other fandoms to just roll over and accept defeat. Until Seasun announces EoS - which is highly unlikely at this time unless something crazy happens - I will continue to be patient and pray to the gacha lords that they grant us peace in these trying times... And I will also take 1 order of big booty goth operator in a future patch please Seasun... When you're not too busy.

But mods, why are we letting the mob run wild in town square? Can we maybe get a post specifically for doom posting or something? Cause it is getting annoying to see "game is dead" "eos soon" "still no censorship fix" every other post... I'm not saying people can't be annoyed... But I saw less complaints about Acacia before they were all pushed to a single post, so what gives?

I am attempting to add a massive tower one that you would see on paper and assume it can touch the skies. Is there an asset for that?
