Why do AI detectors struggle with rewritten AI outputs?
Rewritten AI content may preserve deeper structural patterns even after wording changes. Detectors sometimes continue flagging heavily revised text. Why are rewritten outputs still difficult to classify?

Language models are improving rapidly in fluency and variation. Detection systems may struggle to adapt at the same speed. Can detectors realistically keep pace with ongoing AI advancements?
At what point does this become a consumer rights issue
At what point do false positives and economic harm from these tools rise to the level of a consumer protection issue. People are losing jobs, grades and reputations. The companies behind these tools are profiting with no liability attached.
Been using multiple tools to cross check my work and honestly none of them agree with each other. At this point i feel like flipping a coin would give me more consistent results. The whole thing is a mess.
Running the same text again can sometimes change the result.
