Barrister Readings

I started my readings with Solicitor materials, and shifted to Barrister, i’m halfway done with Civil Litigation, but haven’t touched Crim, Family, or Public law yet

i’m confident i can get them done before when i want to take my first prep test, but i’d have to make the executive decision to abandon like the last third of civil litigation because it’s taken me twice as long to do than anything else so far has

at the end of the day this is where i am and panicking won’t help, so i would appreciate any advice or tips that anyone might have on where to go from here

Reading Barrister & Solicitor PR Side by Side

As title indicates, is there any benefit to reading the materials side by side? (maybe highlighting at the same time or something)

i’ve only been reading the PR for the Barrister, and havent even touched the other book, should i go into the Solicitor one right now and highlight through it or can that wait until when i re-skim it for the actual solicitor exam

Prep Tests & Drill Questions

i’m taking both bars in June (2 and 16)

I was considering buying 3-4 full prep tests for both bars (either BEH and/or Emond A)

and going with a Drill Company for during-reading drills (BEC or Parallel Bar)

at this stage i just need to make a decision and i’m terrified of making the wrong one as this process is also very expensive

does anyone have any insight as to their experience with these companies?

I know BEC and P Bar are both very new, and am hearing conflicting information about both

I had late exams and have just now started bar prep.

I opened my box of printed materials (from bar Exam Crackers) and it seems the set i purchased doesn't come tabbed or have any tabs for me to use!

does anyone have advice about where to buy tabs and if specific ones are better, i know Bar Exam Hero sells tabs?

i'm honestly kind of panicking and I feel like i need to start asap
