Over the past few weeks, I’ve been working on an MCP server for controlling my self-hosted arr stack with Hermes. It’s working and I’ve been using it for a couple of days now. It fulfills my needs, and I’ll continue working on it because I use it daily. Maybe someone else is interested in it as well: arr-mcp.

It has support for: Radarr, Sonarr, Prowlarr, Bazarr, Jellyfin, Seerr, SABnzbd, Transmission.

Also I've build a UI for configuration.

Hi all,

I've been working on a Jellyfin plugin called Custom Cover Art. It lets you design and apply custom cover images for your libraries (text, gradients, backgrounds, the works) with a live preview, without leaving the dashboard.

What it does: you pick a target (a library, collection, playlist, or Live TV), design a cover with title text + background, watch it update live, then apply it or download the image.

Features:

  • 🅰️ Text overlays — title text with size, weight, colour and alignment
  • 🌑 Text effects — drop shadow and outline for readability over busy backgrounds
  • 🌈 Gradients — linear/radial, multi-colour stops with an angle control
  • 🖼️ Custom backgrounds — upload your own image, or pick an existing poster from any library
  • 📥 Image fit — fill (crop), fit (whole image, letterboxed), or stretch
  • 🌫️ Blur & dimming — soften/darken backgrounds so text stands out
  • 🔠 Fonts — bundled Noto Sans, or upload your own .ttf/.otf/.woff/.woff2
  • 📐 Presets & sizes — square, portrait poster, wide banner, landscape, or custom
  • 🎯 Targets — libraries, collections, playlists, and Live TV
  • 👁️ Live preview — see the result before applying anything
  • 🌍 Localisation — English and Dutch included
