Did anybody attend the shows. I have heard a mixed bag of reviews and fan opinions. Some were a little shocked to have their phone taken. Some have said it was an amazing experience to see Roger talk more and others thought there should have been more performance. As a side note Some found Roger shouting out for people to stop talking and listen was justified while some felt it was inappropriate.
Firstly I know this is of course a hypothetical question. and Syd was still in the music industry on and off until 1974. The reason I am mainly asking the question is I find it interesting that in interviews even into the mid to late 90s all members of the band had made statements about how they thought it would be a lovely idea or dream that Syd would one day recover and perhaps be able OR want to make music again with the band. How do fans think the dynamics of the band would work if such a scenario took place?
I know its a hypothetical question but one that has several directions. If you look at Syd not declining and Dave never getting the call.....Do The Pink Floyd become household names or do they disappear with the Psychedelic scene? Syd never appeared to want the success that the others craved. Would Roger find his conceptual voice and breakaway to chase that success?? What are folks thoughts??
