Strange larvae found in relatively new hive.
I did an inspection on my hive, which is now about a month old. It was installed using a nuk. I now have 2 deeps, and I went in to look at it today. I found strange looking larva on the top of the top box frames and when I pulled frames, I found similar larvae at the bottom of some of the frames, these same exceptionally large, but the bees seem to be taking care of them Are these drone larvae, or is it something else.
I'm a third year beekeeper in northern Illinois
