Royal Enfield Classic 500, how much fun is it to ride a slow bike fast?
I'm about to buy a Royal Enfield Classic 500. I know it's not a fast bike, and not made to go through corners knee-down. But I wonder how well it handles when you do push it a little?
The reason I ask is because I believe that it's more fun to go fast on a slow bike, than slow on a fast bike. I ride a lot of 250cc machines and while I'm not breaking any speed limits, they're run to throw around in corners and on roundabouts. I'm usually a lot faster there than the big bikes! It's only on long straight stretches that they'll easily overtake, but once corners come into play, a small bike can be fast too.
